**EDIT** I could not get these pages to work the way I wanted, so there is a new blog address for this trip. www.hollandtaketwo.blogspot.com Sorry for all the mess-ups and confusion!
"Leaving on a Jet Plane"-- That's my song the last couple weeks. I'm heading back to The Netherlands to visit my daughter and SIL again. Second baby is coming soon, and I'm excited to get to be there again! But.....First we get to visit London!
I'll be traveling with my friend Ruth again, and I feel so privileged to get to have such a friend who doubles as a traveling companion & travel agent! (my words)
I have to say that this time I'm having no hesitation about leaving home for a "vacation" at all. I am not so sure it's "deserved" but I am sure looking forward to time away. It's been an extremely busy year and I seem to go non-stop whether it's at home, just daily life, projects, or having grandkids, visiting kids (which involves a lot of driving time) I love it, what I do, my days; but I am really ready for a break. Not meaning my husband and two girls still at home--I'll miss them, but I so appreciate the support and encouragement I get from my family to do this!!
I had planned to leave closer to the end of the month, but once again my friend said "well, if we leave a week earlier, we could fly into London and do some sight seeing there first!" How could I resist that? It really only took me a couple days and I replied "Lets do it!"
So again, I'll try to photo journal my time here. It's a better place than Instagram or Facebook as I it's all in one place. I'm sure I'll flood the other two with photos too, but there will be more detail here.
Tomorrow- Denver. Then we'll see where we go from there. Destination Houston by Monday afternoon at least! It's always an adventure to fly standby!
Here goes!
Once again your big “sis” is going to travel virtually along with you!! Can’t wait to follow along as you see London & then on to your sweet girl’s home ❤️
